Hello! I havent coined a term in a long, long time. So im here to do so.
What is this term about? In short, it is basically blending both plushies and humans, or organisms. This term i have came up with is called Stuffleshies. Or just Stufflesh.
Stuffleshies are those who identify (In any way, identify with, identify as, etc) as being, or just ARE, half organism, or having flesh, and half plushies.
With this new term being introduced, i may as well explain who its for. This term is for ANYBODY. Though, it was more targeted for alterhumans and such, it can be used as a fantasy species, preformance, or whatever you feel fits. But in this coinage post, i will be talking about it in an alterhuman way.
Being a Stufflesh inside of the alterhuman community is not the same as plushkin/kith/etc. HOWEVER IT CAN BE A SYNONYM FOR PLUSHKIN. Stuffleshies however identify as half human, half plush, while plushkins (gonna say plushkins like it includes kith/link/etc here.) identify as or with plushies. Also, you can 100% be plushkin AND Stufflesh at the same time.
Now for Etymology, The word is a mix of two already existing words, being "Stuffie" and "Flesh." I had another word in mind, Plesh or pleshies, which combines "Plushie' and "Flesh," but to me it felt too short. I also thought that the word should sound more horror-like, or intimidating, since alterhuman identities are often looked down upon by outsiders. I wanted to embrace this, just imaging it as like "this is my dog named earth destoryer 10000" and the dog is the cutest dog u have ever seen and has never hurt a fly. Basically what this word is like lowkey.
This term does not have a flag currently, but i have an idea for it. Im imagining a flag that goes from this rose-pink color, lighter pink, pastel yellow, light red, and marroon. These colors DO have a meaning. And i will explain now.
Pink is linked to feelings of calmness, softness, love, playfulness, etc. I feel as if the rose-colored pink fits this. The ligher pink can be for the identity of your half organism, half plushieness.
Yellow, now for yellow. The pastel yellow is for the identity itself and the organism.
The light red represents skin, fur, hair, organs, and whatever an organism has, This can also be for the identity of your half organism, half plushieness. The Marroon color represents blood, rot, and illness.
The flag also has a pastel yellow circle in the middle with a pink otherkin, or elven star, symbol in the middle.
I may change the meaning of the flag colors, but idk yet..
